Leave the initial wrap on that I applied after your tattoo appointment for at least 30 minutes before you remove it and wash your tattoo. Proceed below to step 2.
Always wash your hands first then wash your tattoo with clean hands. Wash your tattoo 2-3 times a day with “anti-bacterial soap”.
Moisturize your tattoo with a “antibiotic ointment or cream” after you wash your tattoo. (Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the next 4-5 days)
By the 5th or 6th day your tattoo will start to get dry and itchy and start to peel because its healing. At this time, you will want to definitely moisturize it with the non-scented lotion 2-3 times a day. Do not let your tattoo dry out!
After your tattoo is healed, it’s always best to keep moisturizing your tattoos. Even after they are fully healed! The better you take care of your skin, the better your tattoos will look for a lifetime.
